Meet the Team

Steve Jackson, Managing Director

Steve’s credentials in technology span over 25 years during which he achieved the distinction of becoming IBM’s youngest engineer and, as co-founder, established 2GL as one of the leading system integrators in the South, growing the organisation to £16m providing IT solutions into the Corporate and Healthcare sector throughout a number of locations in the UK. In 2000 he was part of the strategy team which merged 2GL with WCI, extending the organisation across Europe and the USA, consulting for IT change and solutions for a broad range of industries.

After a brief time away, Steve rejoined in 2007 to lead the formation of Amicus ITS Limited from the merger of Amicus Technology and Harmoni ITS.

Bruce Martin, Technical Director

With significant experience in corporate and healthcare sectors, Bruce is focused on developing leading edge infrastructure and software solutions and has led the company, successfully, in developing a full services portfolio; evolving Amicus ITS Limited’s support capability from a traditional engineering service to the provision of resilient, fully outsourced IT managed services. In 2008 Bruce designed and implemented Amicus ITS Limited’s offshore strategy, to compliment its UK operations and skills.

Bruce leads technical design and delivery teams, ensuring that Amicus ITS Limited delivers, consistently, to high standards. He ensures that technical excellence is maintained throughout the teams to see that that our solutions lead the market and provide best value, by leveraging new and proven technology.

Marc White, Director of Sales.

Marc has over 20 years with the IT industry including, as reseller for, Sun Unix Systems and creating a business unit to market HP OpenView system management toolset. His accolades include achieving the first $1m HP OpenView resale deal outside the United States. In addition to corporate and public sector account management, Marc has significant experience in the finance sector, having serviced major institutions including: Salomon Brothers, County NatWest, Nomura, Bank of England; and JM Finn & Co for which Amicus ITS Limited continues to provide VoIP, storage, networking, virtualisation and complete solutions.

Marc Joined Amicus ITS Limited in May 2008 to focus on the managed services market and develop the range of solutions available to its customers.

Chris Gough, Director of Managed Service

Chris has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years gaining a wide technical background and directs the ITIL-aligned post-delivery operations of Amicus ITS Limited’s Managed Services division, including the 24x7 Service Management Centre. In ten years with Amicus ITS Limited, as Head of IT Managed Service, Chris controlled the Service Delivery team which ensures compliance to the terms and service quality of all formal Service Level Agreements. Chris is accredited as an ITIL Service Level Management Practitioner with experience in the local (Police, Education) and central (Healthcare, Public Protection) public sectors, global corporations and, together with Steve and Bruce, is a member of the Executive Team behind the Alliance Partner Programme.

Russell Whitlock, Head of Human Resources and Recruitment

Russell is Amicus ITS Limited’s Head of Human Resources & Recruitment with over 14 years experience in HR & recruitment within the IT, Healthcare and Consulting sectors. Originally a Computer Science graduate who started his working career at IBM, a position with the largest independent recruitment agency in Southern England led him into a career in HR. Since joining 2GL in 1999 Russell has achieved his goal of establishing a full HR strategy and, as Head of Human Resources, provides leadership as a member of the Senior Management Team, innovative solutions to day-to-day life issues together with timely and successful recruitment to meet the resource needs of the business.

Nick Gordon, Group Financial Director

Nick is Financial Director for HWH Group Limited, Amicus ITS Limited’s parent company, with over 10 years experience as a director of companies in the healthcare, leisure and consulting sectors. Nick joined the organization from Chilvers McCrea Healthcare where he grew the business from 2 to 18 GP practices in less than 2 years. Prior to this he ran an AIM listed company and was, formerly, FD for companies in the IT and consulting sectors with turnovers of up to £100m and 1,000 staff.

All of the companies that he has worked with have gone through significant organisational change and his experience in this area is important in supporting Amicus ITS Limited as it continues to grow.
